How do I water a hanging plant?

To water your hanging plant, first remove it from your hanger and take it to the sink.  Use water that is tepid in temperature.

Use filtered, bottled, or tap water sitting 24 hours to release the chemicals and water enough to discharge out of the drainage holes (flush watering).  Once the water is fully drained from the grower or internal pot, place it into the cache or decorative hanging pot.

Why do my plants lose their leaves on the bottom?

Sometimes losing its leaves on the bottom is a natural occurrence as it cycles through its life, and then other leaves sprout and take over the photosynthesis. If it’s not getting enough bright, indirect light, it may drop off, too.

Other times, a sudden drop of a majority of the leaves can mean that the plant has undergone an environmental change, perhaps due to repotting or a being placed in a new position in your home.  Some plants don’t like to be moved and protest by dropping their leaves. Wait several weeks, and during the growing season, water as needed and keep it on a regular fertilization routine. New leaves will sprout.

How do I know if I’ve watered my plants enough or too much?

To better understand whether your plants need water, purchase a moisture meter to insert into the soil down to the root area. The reading will tell you if it’s on the wet, semi-moist, or dry side. Water, when your plant, requires moisture according to your plant care card.

What is the 30 Day Happiness Guarantee?

We guarantee that you will receive a healthy and happy plant from us! If your plant arrives dead or damaged, our team will replace your plant to meet your satisfaction within 30 days of placing your order. If we cannot send an exact replacement, we will work with you to get another similar plant as soon as possible.

My plant arrived damaged; what do I do next?

Whether your plants arrived frozen, dead, ripped leaves, or otherwise not how you expected, we want to hear about it! Follow the steps below to get in touch with someone on our team.

  1. Take a picture of both the plant and the box.
  2. Please send us a message with the photo attached within 30 days of the delivery via our contact form.

My plant still hasn’t arrived; what do I do?

If you notice that your plant still hasn’t arrived within 5 days of your expected delivery date

  1. Check the tracking on your order confirmation email.
  2. Please fill out our contact form so that we can make things right. Note: If the missing product is because of incorrect information submitted during your checkout, we, unfortunately, cannot provide a refund.

Can I get a refund?

While our first solution is always to replace your item, we will evaluate refunds on a case-by-case basis as each individual situation dictates.

Can I send my plant back?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept physical returns of any kind. We are always happy to provide recommendations on how to attempt to revive a damaged plant or the best way to dispose of it below.

What should I do with my damaged plant?

Since we cannot accept physical returns, although we also hate dead plants, we recommend composting or disposing of them via your local green waste options.

 

What are the delivery options?

To accommodate the best possible customer experience, we offer 3 different service levels for shipping. Currently, we ship to 48 states in the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska).

Domestic Options: 

  • Standard: 4-7 business days + fulfillment – $9
  • Expedited: 2-3 business days + fulfillment – Calculated at Checkout
  • Rush: 1-2 business days + fulfillment – Calculated at Checkout 

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed, as shipments may be affected by weather-related delays or events outside of our control. We will use various carriers to provide the best possible shipping experience and fastest times.

ajjsksk guarantees all of our plants and eco-friendly products will arrive in a condition that will make your green space proud. We guarantee all of our plants for 30 days from the purchase date to be healthy and arrive in good condition.  Note: In November-February this policy only applies to plants labeled “hardy.” If you purchase a plant that is not hardy and it ships to, or ships through a freezing area, we cannot offer a replacement.

Generally, each order ships out with a processing time of 1-2 business days. Our commitment is to have the order processed and shipped by the end of the next business day. We fulfill orders Monday through Saturday, excluding major US Holidays. Below are some typical dates that our warehouse is closed (dates are subject to change per year):
